Established by Emily Barrosse, founder and publisher of Bold Story Press, Xander Press was created for authors who are serious about their work. Emily's career spans forty years in publishing, including serving as Vice President and Editor in Chief at McGraw Hill, where she helped shape hundreds of successful books and authors.

Our authors aren't writing a book simply to say they've published one. They're writing with purpose.

Whether they're sharing a lived experience, building authority in their field, or telling a story that matters, they want a publishing partner who will challenge, support, and champion their work.

We publish a carefully curated list of nonfiction, memoir, and select fiction because great books deserve more than production. They deserve partnership.

Built on the Bold Story Legacy

Xander Press is an imprint of Bold Story Press.

As Bold Story Press grew, outstanding manuscripts began arriving from authors outside its women-only publishing mission. Rather than turning those writers away, Emily created Xander Press.

Today, Bold Story Press continues to publish women authors exclusively, while Xander Press welcomes exceptional writers of all backgrounds.

Although the two imprints serve different audiences, they share the same experienced team, editorial standards, and commitment to publishing books of lasting quality.
