Dr. Mark Rosenberg graduated with an English/Journalism degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 1985. He worked a short while writing for several small newspapers before returning to school and graduating with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia in 1994.

He practiced mixed animal veterinary medicine for over thirty years, starting in Maine, then Connecticut, before settling in the Hudson Valley region of New York State where he currently resides.

When he is not writing about his veterinary experiences, he can usually be found on his bicycle or cross country skis trailing behind his wife, Donna.
